Summer is not just for the young campers. At 6 Points, you’ll have the opportunity to do something fun, productive, memorable and impactful with your summer. Not only do you get to play the sports you love and meet new friends, you’ll be making a positive contribution to the Jewish community as you teach a new generation of athletes pointers they can use both on the field and off!
We set the bar high for our staff each summer, but we are also committed to YOUR growth. Without a doubt, the skills that you will develop at 6 Points will make an impact on your future, educationally, professionally, and personally. Spending a summer working at camp, you can expect to gain:
- Personal and professional growth in areas including teamwork, problem solving, collaboration, strategic planning and communication skills
- A connection to a culturally diverse community where friends are made from all around the world
- An immersive Jewish values-based experience that allows for personal, spiritual growth
- An opportunity to influence and have a strong impact on young Jewish athletes’ identity and emotional growth
Our coaching staff is comprised of college or high-school coaches who are highly regarded in their chosen sports. Our in-residence overnight counselors are Jewish college athletes or high school graduates who played their chosen sport through high school. Not only do they live in the dorms and share their real life athletic tips and experiences with the campers, they also participate in every activity! The 6 Points Staff create a welcoming and encouraging environment to ensure that our campers achieve their personal athletic goals and have an amazing summer!
A staff’s summer at 6 Points Sports Academy is seven weeks long, including a 7-day staff training week. Each staff member is entitled to six days off throughout the summer. The summer season for staff begins June 9, 2020.
